📰 News Highlights:

Notcoin Accelerator [Source][Source][Source]

Notcoin, a popular Telegram-based game, has partnered with AI-powered analytics firm Helika to launch the Telegram Gaming Accelerator. This initiative aims to support the development of new Telegram mini apps and further expand the ecosystem of crypto-backed games.

Helika, known for its work with gaming giants like Ubisoft and Yuga Labs, sees this collaboration as a significant opportunity for game studios to enhance user engagement and global acquisition.

The accelerator will focus on creating mini apps that offer simple gameplay and reward users with real crypto token airdrops. Notcoin’s success story began with a massive airdrop that catapulted the NOT token to a market capitalization of over $2 billion.

Notcoin's co-creator, Sasha Plotvinov, envisions the platform as the "Netflix of social, viral games," aiming to support a wide array of entertaining and competitive social crypto games on Telegram.

GTA 6 Crypto Rumors [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Rumors about the inclusion of cryptocurrency in the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) have resurfaced, sparked by a viral tweet from a Crypto Twitter influencer. The tweet claimed that GTA 6 would enable cryptocurrency payments, specifically mentioning Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT.

Despite these claims, neither Rockstar Games nor its parent company Take-Two has confirmed any such features for the upcoming game. The official trailers and announcements have also made no mention of cryptocurrency integration.

The rumor mill started churning in December when the first official trailer for GTA 6 was leaked, humorously featuring "BUY BTC" stamped on it. However, Rockstar Games has previously banned the use of cryptocurrency and NFTs on player-run GTA 5 servers, which casts doubt on the likelihood of crypto being included in GTA 6.

The discussion is likely to continue as the game's release, expected in fall 2025, approaches.

📈Technical Analysis Masterclass:

UseTheBitcoin’s technical analysis expert entered a short position for Bitcoin as it appears that whales are still dumping their assets. Here's a brief technical analysis of the current situation:

Downtrend Pattern

  • Recent Movement: Bitcoin had broken out of its downtrend, but as of July 4, it has re-entered this pattern, prompting my short position.

  • Market Reaction: While my overall bias is for Bitcoin to go up, it's essential to rely on charts, patterns, and numbers rather than subjective interpretations. Traders must adapt to market changes and acknowledge when predictions are wrong, as the market is always right.

Support Levels

  • Major Support: Watch for the 57k to 58k range. If selling pressure continues and Bitcoin breaks this last line of defense, the next support levels are significantly lower.

  • Bearish Flag Formation: There's a suggestion of a bearish flag formation. The potential outcome could match the size of the pole, aligning with the next support levels at 50k to 52k.

If Bitcoin breaks through the last defense, be prepared for a substantial drop. The plan, if this happens, is to buy more at these lower levels.

Bittensor Network Shutdown [Source][Source][Source]

Bittensor halted its network operations on July 3 after an exploit led to the theft of $8 million worth of digital assets. The network was put into safe mode to prevent further transactions while the investigation continues.

The theft, which involved the draining of wallets, was first identified by on-chain investigator ZachXBT.

An unknown address managed to obtain 32,000 Bittensor (TAO) tokens through a private key leak, a method of attack that has become increasingly common.

This incident follows a similar attack in June, where $11.2 million worth of TAO tokens were stolen. Private key leaks have surpassed smart contract vulnerabilities as the leading cause of hacked digital assets, accounting for over 55% of such losses in 2023.

💡 Feature of the Day:

Consensys Enhances MetaMask Security [Source][Source]

Consensys has acquired Wallet Guard, a security tool designed to protect digital assets and data from theft, scams, and fraud. This acquisition aims to integrate Wallet Guard's advanced security features into MetaMask, one of the most widely used crypto wallets.

The integration will enhance MetaMask's capabilities with improved scam and drainer detection, advanced phishing detection, web scrapers, and transaction analysis APIs.

Patrick Berarducci, Consensys’ MetaMask and Infura Business Group lead, emphasized that the acquisition aims to drive user fund losses to zero.

The Wallet Guard team will join Consensys within the MetaMask Product Safety Team to ensure a smooth transition.
