I understand why the bankruptcy process needs to work this way but let's not pretend victims are getting their money back or that FTX wasn't as awful as it was.

It is always this angle when it works in the favor of the creditor but the exact opposite when it doesn't-- and there are plenty of tokens that people held that are down 90% from the snapshot. SRM is probably one of them off of the top of my head
