Teens Steal Crypto [Source][Source]

Three teenagers from Florida have been charged in connection with a $4 million crypto and NFT robbery following a violent kidnapping in Las Vegas.

The incident occurred in November when the victim, returning from a crypto event, was forced into a vehicle at gunpoint and taken to a remote desert area.

There, the teens allegedly threatened to kill his father unless he gave up passwords to his crypto accounts.

The victim was left stranded and walked five miles through the desert to find help.

Ledger Discord Breach [Source][Source]

Ledger has confirmed that its Discord server is secure after an attacker compromised a moderator’s account on May 11 and posted phishing links aimed at stealing users’ seed phrases.

The breach allowed a malicious bot to share scam links and mute or ban users who tried to report the issue.

Ledger quickly removed the compromised account and bot, reported the phishing site, and reviewed all permissions to prevent future incidents.

💡 Feature of the Day:

Mobius Token Exploited [Source][Source]

Mobius Token’s smart contracts on the BNB Chain were exploited on May 11, resulting in the loss of $2.15 million in MBU tokens.

According to Cyvers Alerts, the attacker deployed a malicious smart contract and drained 28.5 million tokens from a targeted wallet.

The stolen tokens were then converted to USDT and remain in the attacker’s active wallet. Mobius has not yet issued a public statement regarding the exploit.
