The breakthrough came after Trump reportedly called in to help broker a deal, which included attaching the Anti-CBDC bill to the must-pass National Defense Authorization Act, appeasing conservative concerns.

Dunn's supporters dubbed him a “crypto Robin Hood” for attacking a platform they saw as exploitative, but his actions harmed everyday users and sparked controversy.

Dunn remains jailed, occasionally posting updates via a friend, and may now accept his sentence to “earn a couple degrees” behind bars.
