Bitcoin Drops to $81.5K [Source][Source][Source]

Bitcoin fell below $82,000 amid growing investor anxiety over US stock futures and President Trump’s proposed tariffs.

Dubbed "Liberation Day," April 2 is expected to bring a wave of 25% tariffs on imported cars and potential restrictions on pharmaceuticals, causing a downturn in both crypto and stock markets.

BTC dropped to $81,656, marking its seventh consecutive day of decline alongside the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow, which also posted significant losses.

While some analysts have revised their bullish forecasts, institutional investors continue to accumulate BTC, with net inflows into spot ETFs remaining positive.

💡 Feature of the Day:

California Pushes Bitcoin Rights [Source][Source][Source]

California has amended its digital assets bill to include Bitcoin self-custody rights, a move that could benefit nearly 40 million residents.

Assembly Bill 1052, originally focused on money transmission, now aims to guarantee individuals the right to hold digital assets without discrimination.

If passed, the legislation would also legalize crypto payments for private transactions and prevent public officials from promoting digital assets in ways that create conflicts of interest.

The bill is now under review, with supporters hoping California’s decision will set a national precedent.
