Hawk Tuah FBI Probe [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Internet sensation Haliey Welch, known as the "Hawk Tuah girl," revealed that both the FBI and SEC investigated her involvement in the failed HAWK memecoin launch.

The investigation followed a token crash that saw a 90% value loss amid allegations of insider manipulation.

Welch said authorities visited her grandmother’s home and later questioned her, but she was cleared of any wrongdoing.

She admitted to being unfamiliar with crypto and blamed her involvement on trusting the wrong people to manage the project.

Welch explained that a third party controlled her X (formerly Twitter) account, where promotional content was posted without her full understanding.
