📰 News Highlights:

Magic Eden Expands [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Magic Eden, the leading NFT marketplace on Solana, has acquired crypto trading app Slingshot to broaden its services beyond NFTs.

With this move, Magic Eden now supports over 8 million tokens across major blockchains, positioning itself as a universal platform for digital asset trading without the need for centralized exchanges or bridges.

Slingshot’s integration brings full-chain abstraction, easing user onboarding by eliminating gas, wallet, and bridging complexities.

CEO Jack Lu highlighted this as a step toward attracting the 500 million users still dependent on centralized exchanges.

 📈Technical Analysis Masterclass:

📈 Bullish Technical Signals

  • Potential Cup Formation: If Fartcoin continues holding above MAs, a classic cup pattern may form—often a signal for a bullish breakout.

  • Key Resistance Zone: $0.60 to $0.80

    • A clean breakout above this range could trigger stronger bullish momentum.

📊 Momentum Indicators

  • RSI (Relative Strength Index):

    • Sitting above the median line

    • Not overbought = Room for growth

  • MACD:

    • Still in the green = Positive momentum

⚠️ The Catch: It's Still a Memecoin

  • No strong fundamentals or utility

  • Relies heavily on community hype and sentiment

  • High risk: Price can swing wildly in both directions

The New SEC Chair [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Paul Atkins has been confirmed as the new chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by a 52-44 Senate vote, largely along party lines.

A known crypto advocate and former SEC commissioner (2002–2008), Atkins replaces Mark Uyeda, following Gary Gensler’s departure.

Atkins brings experience from founding Patomak Global Partners and co-chairing Token Alliance, and is expected to take a more industry-friendly approach to crypto regulation than his predecessor.

His leadership aligns with the Trump administration's broader support for digital assets.

💡 Feature of the Day:

Griffith Released Early [Source]

Ethereum researcher Virgil Griffith has been released from prison custody and moved to a halfway house, following his conviction for violating U.S. sanctions by speaking at a blockchain conference in North Korea.

Griffith was arrested in 2019 for delivering a talk titled “Blockchains for Peace in North Korea,” which the U.S. claimed violated the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

His case sparked debate over whether sharing publicly available blockchain knowledge constitutes a national security threat.

After initially pleading not guilty, Griffith later accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to 63 months in prison in 2022.
