📰 News Highlights:

Pudgy Penguins' Game Launch [Source][Source][Source]

Pudgy Penguins has announced Pengu Clash, a skill-based “play-to-win” game launching on the TON blockchain, leveraging Telegram’s vast user base.

Unlike “play-to-earn” models that reward users with in-game currencies, this title emphasizes competition between users who wager against each other based on skill.

The game will offer multiple modes and skill-based challenges, and it's seen as a major move into the TON-powered Telegram mini-game ecosystem.

Its next title, Pudgy Party, is expected in August.

Nobitex Suffers $81M Hack [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex was hacked for over $81M across the Tron and Ethereum networks, with attackers using “vanity addresses” containing anti-Iranian slogans.

The group “Gonjeshke Darande,” which claims to be pro-Israel, took credit and has threatened to leak the exchange's internal data.

Nobitex confirmed the hack only affected its hot wallets and assured users it would cover losses via its insurance fund.

Investigators like ZachXBT and Cyvers Security noted the attack exploited poor internal controls, though the stolen funds have not yet been moved.

The attackers accuse Nobitex of being central to Iran’s sanctions evasion efforts, adding weight to their campaign.

💡 Feature of the Day:

Meta Pool Foils $27M Attack [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Meta Pool narrowly avoided a major exploit after a hacker minted $27M worth of mpETH tokens through a critical contract bug.

The attacker exploited a “fast unstake” feature to mint tokens and drain swap pools across Ethereum and Optimism networks.

Fortunately, Meta Pool's early detection system allowed the team to pause the affected contracts before more damage could occur.

The protocol confirmed that user-staked Ethereum remains safe and delegated via SSV Network validators.

Meta Pool has promised to reimburse affected users and will release a full post-mortem and recovery plan soon.
