📰 News Highlights:

Bybit Hacker Launders $1.4B [Source][Source][Source][Source][Source]

The Bybit hacker successfully laundered all $1.4 billion worth of stolen crypto in just 10 days, using cross-chain protocols like THORChain to obscure transactions.

Some funds may still be recoverable, with experts working to trace and freeze portions of the illicit transactions.

Bybit acted swiftly to replace the stolen funds, fully covering the $1.4 billion loss by Feb. 24.

Meanwhile, THORChain saw record-breaking swap volumes, generating $5.5 million in revenue due to the hacker’s activity.

The platform has faced scrutiny for enabling illicit fund transfers, leading to a developer resigning after a vote to block North Korean-linked assets was reversed.

FTX Unstakes $431M in SOL [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Bankrupt crypto firms FTX and Alameda unstaked over 3 million Solana (SOL) tokens worth $431 million, marking their largest SOL unlock since November 2023.

Blockchain analytics flagged the movement, with 25,000 SOL already sent to Binance.

Although FTX has been unlocking large amounts of SOL, strict court-imposed liquidation limits prevent it from selling everything at once.

The Delaware Bankruptcy Court caps sales at $50 million per week, with the option to increase to $200 million if approved.

💡 Feature of the Day:

Streamer Robbed Over Crypto [Source][Source][Source]

Popular streamer Amouranth, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, claimed she was robbed at gunpoint by intruders demanding access to her crypto.

She had previously revealed holding 211 Bitcoin, worth over $20 million, making her a potential target.

Security footage shows three gunmen entering her home before fleeing after loud noises were heard.
