📰 News Highlights:
AI Agents Should Prioritize Utility [Source]
AI-related tokens have dropped 61% from their peak, with their market cap now at $27 billion.

While crypto is the currency for AI, not every agent needs its own token.
Agents can take fees in an existing crypto for providing a service.
Launch a coin only if you have scale. Focus on utility, not tokens.🙏

Solana deleted a controversial ad after backlash over its take on gender identity issues.
Took them 9 hours to delete it.
Also all the major players in the Solana ecosystem suddenly delete their tweets promoting/supporting the ad and RT’d and liked takes about it being bad.
They approved this, supported it and celebrated it.
They rolled it back because it hurt… x.com/i/web/status/1…

The ad, meant to promote the Solana Accelerate conference, mocked pronoun discussions and encouraged a return to innovation in crypto.
Critics, including Web3 industry leaders, called it "tone deaf" and accused Solana of making light of serious cultural debates.
Before its removal, the ad garnered over 1.2 million views but faced overwhelming criticism.
I deleted my initial take on the Solana ad today after some reflection.
At first I liked the ad because it struck a chord with me. I believe a whole generation of people was taught to focus on zero sum oppressor oppressed world views rather than positive sum techno… x.com/i/web/status/1…
