📰 News Highlights:

Private Stablecoin Transfers [Source][Source][Source][Source]

Base is preparing to launch private stablecoin transactions using zero-knowledge privacy tech from Iron Fish, recently acquired by Coinbase.

The system will hide transaction details on-chain while still allowing verification, giving users stronger privacy on a public blockchain. This shift aims to make Base more attractive for everyday users and businesses who don’t want their financial activity exposed to the public.

However, it won’t be full anonymity. The design includes “view keys,” which users can share with regulators or tax authorities for compliance.

With ZK-proof privacy already tested across 20+ chains and a privacy-enabled USDC version in place, Coinbase is positioning Base as a leading network for auditable but private stablecoin payments.

Global Anti-Phishing Alliance [Source][Source]

MetaMask, Phantom, WalletConnect, Backpack, and SEAL have formed a global phishing defense network to counter a surge in phishing attacks that drained more than $400 million in 2025.

The system allows real-time sharing of verified malicious links, instantly triggering wallet-wide phishing alerts for users across all participating platforms.

Crypto drainers are evolving fast, frequently rotating phishing pages, hiding scripts, and shifting infrastructure offshore to avoid detection.

By sharing threat data instantly, the alliance aims to cut response time from days to minutes, creating what they call a “decentralized immune system” to protect users before funds are stolen.

Trump Pardons CZ [Source][Source]

President Trump has pardoned Binance founder CZ, wiping his conviction for Bank Secrecy Act violations and marking a major policy shift in the U.S. stance toward crypto.

Trump argued that CZ was unfairly targeted and “committed no crime,” while CZ thanked supporters and announced he will help make the U.S. “the capital of crypto.”

The pardon removes previous restrictions that barred him from holding executive roles, meaning CZ can now return to leadership in the crypto industry, including Binance. Markets immediately reacted, boosting Binance-linked assets as investors saw the move as a pro-crypto signal from the Trump administration.

💡 Feature of the Day:

$250K Ocean Bounty [Source][Source][Source]

Fetch.ai CEO Humayun Sheikh has posted a $250,000 bounty for information on Ocean Protocol’s multisig signers after accusing an Ocean-linked wallet of dumping $120M in tokens tied to the ASI merger.

On-chain data from Bubblemaps appears to show millions of OCEAN tokens were converted to FET and sent to exchanges before or during the merger.

Ocean has denied wrongdoing but has since withdrawn from the ASI alliance, intensifying suspicion.

With legal threats, class-action plans, and exchange scrutiny now underway, the feud has already shaken the market, $FET fell sharply, and Binance halted OCEAN deposits—turning the ASI merger into one of the biggest public disputes in crypto governance this year.
