WhiteRock Finance founder Ildar Ilham was arrested in the UAE, reportedly tied to the $30 million ZKasino scam.

The arrest connects Ilham to Elham Nourzai, who was previously detained by Dutch authorities for fraud, embezzlement, and money laundering related to the same case.

ZKasino launched in April 2024 with promises of token airdrops, but over a year later, funds remain missing.

Crypto sleuth ZachXBT broke the news, stating Ilham’s extradition to the Netherlands is underway.

Firefox Wallet Clones [Source][Source]

Over 40 fake Firefox extensions impersonating major crypto wallets like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase have been uncovered by cybersecurity firm Koi Security.

These extensions were designed to harvest users’ wallet credentials and send them to remote servers controlled by hackers.

The malware campaign has been active since at least April and uses cloned open-source code with malicious modifications to avoid detection while maintaining user trust.

North Korean hackers are using a rare form of malware written in the Nim programming language to target Mac users in the crypto industry, according to Sentinel Labs.

The attack starts with Telegram-based social engineering, where victims are lured into fake Zoom calls and tricked into installing malware disguised as a Zoom update.

Once installed, the malware—dubbed NimDoor—steals browser data, wallet credentials, and even Telegram’s local encrypted database.
